Our terms and conditions

Customers should be aware that some chocolates contain nut traces which are a health risk to people who suffer from nut allergies. If in doubt, consult your physician / doctor.

yummychocs reserves the right to vary these terms & conditions, its product range and prices, shipping options and shipping prices without notice, but will not surcharge customers if a product or shipping price changes between the time an order is placed and despatched.

CCNow is the authorized online retailer from whom customers purchase yummychocs products.

Payment is in (US) $ unless otherwise specified. Currency conversion facilities offered by this site or sites to which it links are for guidance only. The (US) $ conversion price may be different to the conversion rate charged by your credit card company. The (US) $ price quoted by yummychocs / CCNow will be converted to the customer’s home currency by the customer’s credit card company, with reference to their rates, rules and regulations. The cost of the customer’s order will be shown in their home currency on their credit card bill / statement. yummychocs reserves the right to verify payment information and may cancel orders if relevant contact information is not supplied.

Shipping

Orders will normally be despatched from the United Kingdom (UK) on the day of the order or the day after the order has been placed (provided these are working / business days.) If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will, at our discretion endeavour to upgrade that item to a larger size of the same brand wherever possible at no extra charge to the customer. However, if we are aware that we will be unable to fulfil any part of the customer’s order within 5 to 7 working days of the order being placed we will inform the customer by email as soon as possible and cancel the order with no charge to the customer. We will not make partial shipments.

Where weights are shown against each product, these figures indicate the approximate product weight and may include the weight of product wrappings but not the weight of yummychocs protective packaging for shipping purposes.

‘Airmail’ and ‘Swiftair’ are shipping services offered by the Royal Mail. The cost of Airmail shipping which includes packaging by yummychocs is automatically added to the customer’s order. Airmail shipments usually reach their destination within 3 working days inside Western Europe and 4 to 8 working days to destinations outside Europe. These delivery times are dependant upon non-UK postal service delivery schedules and may vary considerably with regard to destination (particularly remote locations) and time of the year (e.g. busy postal periods.) Swiftair shipments feature priority despatch by Royal Mail from the UK. In effect this could be up to 1 day quicker than Airmail – usually shipped out of the UK on the first appropriate, available flight.

If any order exceeds the maximum weight which Royal Mail will ship in a single package (at their current small packet rates) to certain countries (usually 2kg depending on the destination) the complete order will be shipped as separate packages if necessary.

Packets under 200g to most destinations within the European Union do not require a Customs label. However, all other packages require a UK Customs Declaration.

Customs Departments may open packages for inspection and occasionally may even open the product packaging. Unfortunately, we cannot refund or exchange products that have been opened for inspection by Customs Departments.

Any national or local taxes and / or duties are the responsibility of the customer and not yummychocs or CCNow.

Personal Data

All transactions are conducted by CCNow. Any contact details held by yummychocs will not be shared with any other party for marketing or research purposes.

Customer Service

CCNow handles all billing enquiries via a US toll-free number (1-877-CCNOW-77).

If you are unhappy with any order, please inform us via email to:
customerservice@yummychocs.com within 7 days of receiving your products. We will acknowledge your email within 3 working days and aim to resolve the issue to your satisfaction. Alternatively, you may return the entire consignment to us within 21 days of receipt for a refund of the cost of the products and Airmail shipping. Unfortunately, we cannot undertake to refund return shipping costs.

If you are unhappy with the quality of any particular product which is part of your order please inform us via email to:
customerservice@yummychocs.com We will ask you to return the product for inspection and on receipt of the product, at our discretion we will offer you a free replacement or refund of the price of that product, whichever you prefer.
